Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The tool asks for sex, date of birth, general health status, tobacco consumption, coverage sum, and term duration. Six answers are sufficient to get carrier rates. Your personal name, address, and medical information only come into play if you apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

They show what each carrier quotes for the health level you specified. The carrier decides the final cost after reviewing your application, and may confirm, enhance, or adjust the level. This website offers no coverage guarantees or promises about pricing.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name, and the platform builds an application from your chosen rate, then transitions to the carriers' secure system. You are able to leave and return later, and you authenticate electronically. Susman Insurance Agency manages the process as a licensed California business (License 0B75129).

Will I need a medical exam?

It depends on the insurer, coverage level, and your answers. Insurers with quick decisions can approve qualified candidates without exams; each rate here specifies if an exam is mandatory, conditional, or unnecessary.

Is a longer term better?

A term should span the period when your death would financially harm others: a home loan, kids at home, company debt. Longer terms carry higher monthly premiums but guarantee your rate is locked in. Use the tool to look at 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year terms side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The tool doesn't store personal information, we don't buy or give away personal information, and our analytics don't use cookies. Check the privacy page for a complete accounting of what we track and who tracks it.
